Formative
workshop where learning mosaic art, decorative technique, wood-inlay,
is combined with an holiday in I tetti
di Siciliando hotel.
This
proposal is turned to forming centres, art schools, universities;
but it is also turned to everyone who loves arts and Handcrafts.

Wood-inlay
workshop
In general it
forecast the object realization, like: frames, trays and decorative
panels; and making use of different kinds of woods, like: olive,
mahogany, walnut cherry and so on.
Is used the inlay technique,
that is direct sticking of mar-quetry on under-lay design.

Mural
decoration workshop
It forecast the teaching of decoration techniques, like: wood graining,
fresco, graffito, stencilling, tattered, feint moulding and objects
realization.

Mosaic
composition workshop
In general it forecast mosaic decoration of some objects ( pots,
frames, mirrors) and realization of mosaic tile. The material used
is local stone ( pitch-stone and limestone), marble, ceramics tiles.
The technique used is direct and turned laying.

 Information
Workshop are
direct to privates, forming centres, art schools and universities;
they last one week and they are hold at I tetti di Siciliando hotel
since 29 of April to 15 of July and since 26 of August to 16 of
September.
The packet include
20 hours of teaching, didactic materials, and a visit in Modica.
The courses
will take place at reaching of a minimum of 6 persons.
